Over-boarded the ceiling due to the spot lights been moved into different positions
Little bit of patching up to do with bonding on the walls
Then a full skim coat to the room

This is a large living room we completed this week
We put some more fixings in the ceiling as some of the old nails had popped
And repaired the cracks ready for a skim coat
Some of the walls needed to be fully meshed as they had hairline cracks over them
A lot of prep work involved in this one but once that was done made our lives much easier with the skim coat

This is a master bedroom in a large new build we’ve been working on
Had to do a bit of extra work on the ceiling as the roof timbers didn’t line up with the corners of the walls
After abit of filling out with backing coat and double boarding some areas we managed to get all the corners lining up nicely

An on going job at the moment
This is a full house we are working on, it’s an ex council pre fab house with a flimsy timber frame on the inside with really thin plaster boards fixed to it
Every wall needs to be strengthened and over boarded
The photos are the staircase area where we needed to add a beading detail to the bottom of the plaster board as the we lost the thickness of the string of the stairs

Managed to fit a domestic job in last week as well
A hall stairs and landing with heavy artex on the ceiling which needed over boarding prior to plastering
We filled out the artex pattern on the walls prior to applying a skim coat to make sure we got a nice flat finish

Just finished this new suite at first direct arena it’s was a quick turnaround on this job so was quite challenging at times with other trades in our way but got it completed on time

This is a large kitchen we’ve just completed
The room was the original living room but the customer wanted a larger space for the new kitchen
The ceiling was over boarded and the larger ceiling we needed to fix some trims round the edge so not to lose the coving detail
2 walls were plaster boarded then backing coat was applied to other areas where the old plaster had become lose
The full room was then skimmed

We never like to rip it down if we can help it as in most properties it’s as old as the house so a shame to lose it
When a ceiling needs over boarding this is 3 ways we make sure the cornice/coving is not damaged or any of the detail lost
