Plasterers in this week, then it’s onto second fix and phase two which is the rewire and replaster of the full existing house ⚡️

Garden room now watertight and surrounding landscape completely transformed 🪄

A beautiful, bespoke made, free standing garden room fit for purpose to become this great client’s dream home salon 💇‍♀️

She’s been ready to go self employed for a while now, and she’s now got the perfect space in the comfort of her own garden to do so 🚀

Internals are all first fixed, currently being plastered and nearly ready to be handed back over. Look out for the grand reveal, it’s a good one 👌😍

Kicking off the landscaping phase of this self build in Wakefield with a retaining wall, faced off with a beautiful rural blend handmade brick. With steps up to what’s going to be a patio with pergola and seating area 🧘‍♂️

A garden wall that looks the business but also serves a purpose for the garden design and split level 🤝

This now stands ready for porcelain copings and covering of the steps, along with hardwired lighting to add that little bit of luxury 🧱

First step to open plan living complete ✅

A tricky knock-through with two existing steels to work with, both at different levels which both connect to the two new beams we provided and installed 🚧

Props to Jim the steel man for welding them all together and making safe before dropping the acros and making space for the kitchen plans to begin 🪄

NEPO Construction Christmas Appeal 2026 🌲🧑‍🎄

Over the last few years me and Lewis have been fortunate enough to grow our business and more importantly raise our young families. With 6 children between us It’s made us realise how lucky we are, and we want to now use that to make a difference to children and families who are having a much tougher time 🙏

We’ve come up with an idea called the NEPO Construction Christmas Appeal.

From July through to December, we will be taking on a series of fundraising challenges, beginning with the Yorkshire Three Peaks, with the aim of raising money to help give children at Leeds Children’s Hospital the best Christmas possible 🙌

Every penny raised through our GoFundMe will go towards buying Christmas presents, which we’ll personally take to Leeds Children’s Hospital for the children who will be spending Christmas in hospital

Over the coming months we’ll be hiking mountains, taking on challenges and bringing together our staff, families, customers and suppliers to raise as much money as we can, and it’s going to all be documented through our social media pages 🎬

We hope this is just the beginning and that the NEPO Construction Christmas Appeal becomes an annual tradition for many years to come 📈

Extension in progress 🔨 ⚒️ 👷‍♂️

This one was put on hold for a couple of weeks while Yorkshire Water decided what we were to do with a public sewer running through the planned extension, but we’re back firing on all cylinders now with a simple plan in place 🔥

Roof set out ready for the flush roof lights to slot in and to be covered with double Roman tiles, and onto the internals 🤌

Simple steady knock through to open up this kitchen and dining room, bringing in so much more natural light and preparing for more work on the house 🏡🚧

A simple little driveway widened. In and out in the day, a few paving slabs, wall and pillar moved over slightly, providing much easier and spacious access for the car to comfortable get on the drive now with a walkway down the side ✅

We always price jobs like these and will never say a job is too small because A) These small jobs are what built NEPO to what it is today, and B) you never know what they could lead to. A lady over the road saw the vans outside this job and asked us if we would price her full extension 🏆🥳
