JP Nugent Plumbing & Heating

Happy Birthday to the main man Mr JP Nugent
🎉🎂🥳💙

06/10/2026

This is a charity that means an incredible amount to our family, my beautiful 3-year-old son was born with microtia.

Having a child with microtia has introduced us to a community, a wealth of information, support and most importantly, people who truly understand. Microtia UK have been a huge support to us, and I’ll always be grateful for the work they do for children and families like ours 🧡

As a local business, I wanted to use my platform to help raise a little more awareness of Microtia and make sure families who may need support can find it

If you’ve never heard of microtia before, I’d really encourage you to take a few minutes to have a look at the charity and the amazing work they do.

You can now find the Microtia UK link on my website. Every little bit of awareness can make a difference 🧡

A big thank you to Josh at JP Nugent Plumbing & Heating for helping spread awareness of Microtia UK by sharing a link to our website on his own. This cause is especially close to Josh's heart, as his son was born with microtia. Every share helps more people discover the information and support available.

Josh can also take care of all your plumbing needs! He's based in Leeds and takes on work across Leeds, Wakefield and York. So if you live nearby, please support a local business that's helping to support Microtia UK 🧡

🚨 This boiler was NOT worth saving 🚨

After buying their new home, our customer called us out to check the existing boiler and it quickly became clear that replacement was the only sensible option.

❌ Multiple leaking components
❌ Signs of water damage in the loft
❌ Poor access for servicing
❌ Repairs no longer cost-effective

So, instead of replacing like-for-like, we relocated a brand new boiler downstairs, neatly under the stairs.

🔥 Ideal Logic Max
📱 Hive Active Heating – control your heating from your phone
🛡️ 10-year warranty

The customer can now carry on renovating their new home with complete peace of mind, knowing their heating is new, safe, reliable and guaranteed.

Another old boiler out, another home ready for its next chapter. 🏡🔥

🎉 5 Years of JP Nugent Plumbing & Heating 🎉

5 years ago today I remember Josh leaving on his 1st day, we had 5 month old George at the time and I was on maternity leave, the jump felt scary but one thing I knew was Josh would work his socks off for us 💙

Fast forward 5 years, we are now a family of 4 and both of us work for the company 🤯 I’d of never believed it if you told me 5 years ago this is what life would look like now. I’m so unbelievably proud of us both for working so hard to make this company a brilliant one👏

It’s not for the faint hearted running your own business but we try our absolute best every single day and we are so grateful for the support you all show us🤞💙

The biggest thank you to all of you 💙

Can’t wait to see what the next 5 years bring 😍😍
