We came across this extension roof today while out quoting this a an example of a cowboy job and to make things worse building control has passed this job off 😠 🤠 ❌❌

⚠️ THIS A WARNING TO ALL HOMEOWNERS MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE YOUR ROOFERS & BUILDERS CAREFULLY! ⚠️

This extension roof is an example of why it’s so important to make sure you hire a trustworthy, experienced and qualified insured roofing contractor this job will now cost £1000’s to make right 🔨 🏠

An extension designed for a flat roof should be installed using a suitable flat roofing system, with the correct structure, waterproofing and drainage. Simply using roof tiles instead of the appropriate flat roof system can lead to serious concerns if the roof hasn’t been properly designed and installed for that purpose.

Poor workmanship and the wrong roofing materials can potentially lead to water ingress, leaks, damp, costly repairs and unnecessary stress for homeowners.

🏠 Before employing a roofer, always:
✅ Check their reviews and previous work.
✅ Ask for references from previous customers.
✅ Make sure the proposed roofing system is suitable for your extension.
✅ Get a clear written quotation explaining the work and materials.
✅ Never choose a contractor based on price alone.

Your roof is one of the most important parts of your home. Cutting corners today could cost you thousands tomorrow.

Choose wisely, do your research and make sure your property is in safe hands. Don’t be afraid to ask questions before agreeing to any roofing works
