Miserable damp start to the day today. This hasn't dimmed Sub's enthusiasm for soot. Here we have a fine example of a door seal replacement. Poor rope seals on a stove door mean a lack of air control . This can lead to too much oxygen getting into the chamber causing the stove to overheat which can lead to permanent damage.

6.30 am start for Sub and I this morning. Great watching the geese over Snaith heading for warmer climes.
