Friday’s work!!!!

10/10/2026

🔥 12 RADIATORS NOT HEATING PROPERLY… AND NO POWER FLUSH NEEDED! 🔥

Another busy Friday across Surrey for JLM Plumbing & Heating Services Ltd! 🛠️🔥

We kicked off the day with a routine gas boiler service for one of our valued existing clients, keeping their heating system safe, efficient and ready for the colder months ahead. ✅

Next stop was a gas meter pipework alteration, upgrading the installation to meet current gas safety requirements. 👍🏼

🔥 THEN CAME THE INTERESTING ONE… 🔥

We attended a property where our client had been experiencing ongoing heating problems, with radiators failing to heat the house correctly.

Despite being covered by a British Gas maintenance plan, our client had repeatedly been advised by previous engineers that the heating system required a POWER FLUSH!

However, after carrying out our own investigations using our thermal imaging equipment, we identified the issues and made a few adjustments to the heating system.

💥 WITHIN ONE HOUR, ALL 12 RADIATORS WERE HEATING BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT THE PROPERTY!

✅ No expensive power flush required!

✅ No unnecessary work!

✅ Just the correct diagnosis, experience and a few adjustments!

Sometimes it’s not about replacing parts or recommending expensive work. It’s about understanding how heating systems operate and finding the actual problem! 👨‍🔧🔥

🚨 EMERGENCY CALLOUT!

We then received an emergency call from a rental property with no heating.

After investigating, we traced the fault to a defective heating programmer. A replacement was installed, and the heating was back up and running in no time! 🛠️🔥

To finish off Friday afternoon, we completed our final gas boiler service of the day. ✅

🏡 IS YOUR HOME NOT HEATING PROPERLY?

Cold radiators? Uneven heating? Been told you need an expensive power flush?

Before spending hundreds of pounds on unnecessary work, give us a call!

At JLM, we believe in diagnosing the problem correctly and providing honest, professional solutions.

🍁🍂 AUTUMN HAS ARRIVED — BUT IS YOUR BOILER SAFE & WINTER READY? 🔥

Today turned into a very unexpected day for us at JLM.

We started the morning with a beautiful view from Box Hill ☀️🍂 before heading out for a day of boiler servicing across Surrey.

Our first boiler service passed with flying colours. ✅

Then we headed over to Ashtead for our next service — and unfortunately, this one was a very different story.

During the service of a Worcester boiler, we discovered failed burner seals resulting in dangerous levels of CARBON MONOXIDE, along with issues with the gas pipework at the meter. ⚠️

The appliance needed to be made safe immediately.

Our client is 96 years old and receives round-the-clock care, so simply leaving him without heating and hot water wasn’t an option for us.

A couple of phone calls later, our understanding afternoon clients kindly agreed to reschedule their appointments so we could stay and get everything sorted.

We replaced the failed boiler seals, upgraded the gas pipework at the meter and carried out the necessary safety checks — leaving everything safe and sound, with no disruption to our client’s care. 🫡🔥

This is exactly why we cannot stress enough how important regular boiler servicing is.

Your boiler may look fine.
It may sound fine.
It may even appear to be working perfectly.

But is it SAFE? ⚠️

🍁 Autumn is here and the colder weather is on its way.

🔥 Is your boiler serviced, safe and winter ready?

🚨 ASHTEAD – WATER SUPPLY UPDATE 💧

We are receiving a high volume of calls this morning from residents in Ashtead experiencing very low water pressure or no water at all!!!!

There is currently a burst water main in the Ashtead area, which is being attended to.

If you are currently without water, please be aware that this is a mains supply issue and not an issue with your individual plumbing system.

We hope the supply is restored for everyone as soon as possible. 💧

Regards,
