🚨 PLEASE SHARE — HELP NEEDED FOR A HARD-WORKING TRADESMAN 🚨

I’m putting this out there to see if anyone can help my best mate Luke J Bennett who has been absolutely devastated by a recent theft in London.

His van was broken into and all of his tools were stolen. For someone who relies on his tools to earn a living, this isn’t just a case of losing a few bits of equipment — it’s taken away his ability to work and provide for his family.

He’s a hard-working bloke who simply wants to get back on site and carry on earning an honest living for his family. He isn’t looking for sympathy or a handout — he desperately needs access to tools so he can get back to work.

🙏 If anyone has tools sitting unused that they would be willing to lend him, even temporarily, it could make a massive difference.

Securing this sixth van for my customer.

The five previous vans all have my award-winning "Van Shield Gates and motion sensor alarms."

His company works all over the country and stays in hotels a lot.

They all use the security gates as storage, so they don't have to go inside the van to get some of their tools.

All my gates can be removed and installed into the next van, unlike hook locks and plates.

Securing this Renault Trafic SWB for this customer.

He went for the fort knox package 🏰

Last minute he contacted me and asked if he could have the roof and side bars.

The roof is 0.6mm thick. The roof bars are between 3/5mm thick
Nearly 9 times thicker.

He opted for my bi-folding security gates on the side door, perfect for gaining access in car parks, customer properties, etc.

Then, for the rear door, he wanted my award-winning "Van Shield Gate."

He wanted to attach his tools/testing equipment to the back of the gate.

Two loud motion sensor alarms 🔊 🚨: as soon as the van doors open, the alarms trigger. Out of 82 attempts, 74 of those just moved onto the next van.

The customer said, "It was a no-brainer" to getting the gates fitted. One of his testing equipment pieces cost double what the security gates did.

Securing this fleet of Nissan Interstars and Nissan Primastars for this company.

Van break-ins seem to be on the rise, and as with their other vans, they didn't want these on the road before getting some serious security for them.

Securing the seventh van for this company.

They have already had two previous attempts on their vans so far.

Both attempts bypassed the hook locks and plates, but the gates prevented their tools from being stolen.

This company does a lot of underground scanning with equipment which costs thousands! And it isn't insured when it's inside a van.

These gates have already paid for themselves multiple times over, saving downtime for the drivers and rescheduling clients.

Would like to say a massive thank you to & for inviting us to the Supertrowel event in Hertfordshire the last couple of days. 🙌

It's been great sharing awareness about van break-ins and listening to everyone's stories, whether their own or of people they know, who have lost tools to van thefts. 🚐🛡️

We have so much footage and pictures of people just having a good time trying to get past my security gates, and one crazy man who had 4 attempts and over 12 minutes and such determination to break open the gates 🏆😂

For me and everyone else watching, it was great fun to watch. One person said he looked like a crazy spider monkey 🐒 hanging off the gates 🤣

The rear gate was reused and fixed, patched up as best we could from the Fix Festival event a few weeks ago. 🛠️🩹

The rear gate in total lasted for 1 hour and 23 minutes, and the side gate 1 hour and 11 minutes. ⏳💪

Over 9 grinder discs and 5 batteries, replicating saw 4 blades, locks were drilled out. This was on the side gate alone, with multiple attempts with crowbars, wrecking bars, and sledgehammers. ⚙️🔨🔋.

This have to be my favorite and quickest attempt on my customers I've had so far. 🤩🥳

Literally, four days after having the gates installed on-site down south, on a new building site for houses, some thieves dressed up as builders with hard hats and high-viz jackets came onto the site. 👷‍♂️🚧

The customer has hook locks and plates, but as I tell my customers, you will get van damages as the thieves need to cut out/bend the side door where the hook lock latches on. 🛠️😔

Like all of us, we want to do a job as quickly and efficiently as possible. Trying the van door handles first, as it's free and only takes a second, the van doors opened, the alarms triggered, and then they saw the gates for the first time. 🚨🚪

The owner got alerted and came out to his van and saw the thieves running away. No damages, tools still there, didn't need to ring his customers to rearrange, or speak with van and tools insurance "if they even pay out." 🏃‍♂️💨💰

The owner let the site know what just happened and went back to work. 🗣️👍

These gates paid for themselves six times over, and then he sold them to a friend, made some more money, got a new shape Ford Custom, and got some upgraded security gates as they were a few years old. 🤑🚗🔒
