I was loaned a temporary van by a very kind neighbour to allow me to get back to work after weeks of being stuck at home. My own van is still awaiting repairs unfortunately, but I will update everyone once it's fixed.

In the meantime, I've finally managed to complete a composite decking job that should've been done weeks ago which has given me a well needed boost. Not only are the customers very pleased with my work, I am also very proud of this so I wanted to share with you all!

So I asked for genuine help with my van and have been inundated with people offering to help which has been very much appreciated. I think I've now found the right person for the job 👍

However, this is someone that did reply who I've obviously chosen not to deal with. Would you want to give him work after receiving these messages?!

This is unacceptable so I feel the need to let others know to avoid this guy at all costs!

I'm still having issues with my van and I've now been off the road without being able to work for three weeks. I'm desperately searching for a local auto electrian that will work on an LDV Maxus van please.

I've already phoned round the obvious online companies like Protek but no garage wants to fix take on the job due to it being an LDV.

After spending nearly £1400 replacing everything mechanical in the fuel system we have finally found the fault. It's a connection issue between the crank position sensor and the ECU.

I've now identified where the ports that the crank position sensor goes to in the ECU, numbers 14 and 15. I've also figured out which colour wires link the two.

I've ordered some replacement/appropriate wire as somewhere along this line is the fault but I can't find anyone to fix it. Can anyone help please?!

With the correct wires and now knowing the correct ports/terminals, is there anyone that is able to re-wire the connection from the crank position sensor to the ECU please?

Ongoing van issues preventing work outside Laxfield

​Due to some unforeseen van troubles I've been off work for two weeks now and having fitted many new parts unfortunately the van still won't start. I'm awaiting more parts so I hope to be back on the road by Monday.

In the meantime, I'm asking if anyone in the village of has any odd jobs they could offer me over the next few days please?

I've been unable to earn any money and I'm a bit desperate now, as well as very frustrated that I can't work as normal.

An update from Bee Ts Odd Jobs

​Due to some unforeseen van troubles, my vehicle is currently awaiting parts and for repairs to be carried out. This has meant I’m unable to travel outside of Laxfield until the van is back on the road...this is currently looking like the middle of next week.

​However, I am still available and taking on local jobs within Laxfield! If you are based in the village and need a hand, please let me know as any local work would be very much appreciated while I'm waiting for the van to be repaired.

​For all jobs further afield, thank you so much for your patience and ongoing support. I am keeping track of every enquiry and adding you to my waiting list, and I will get back to each of you directly with booking availability as soon as the van is back on the road and reliable.

Some of you may have noticed a property in Laxfield where a front porch has been supported by acrows for nearly a year.
I was asked to replace the framework holding it up as it was rotten and the porch was leaning forward quite substantially.
Having completed the job this afternoon and the acrows removed, I'm very pleased to say that the porch is now securely attached to the house and is back to being level!
I must give a huge thank you to Peter from Amies Scaffolding Service for assisting me to not only complete this job, but also for making sure the porch was safe before attempting the repair!!
