Hi everyone… hope you had a lovely Easter 🐣

Now the weather is starting to change, it’s a great time to start thinking about those repairs and maintenance jobs.

At ADC Essex, we specialise in repairing wooden structures using tried and tested materials — often giving them a new lease of life without the cost of full replacement.

A repair now could save you money and hassle later.

Drop us a message if you’d like some advice or a quote 👍

Apprentice Carpenter Wanted (Chelmsford plus surrounding areas)

Must Survive the Banter (and the Dust)

Think you can handle a real building site? We’re looking for an apprentice who can manage hard graft, early starts, and the occasional "enthusiastic" volume increase when a spirit level goes missing.

The Daily Grind:

The Sisyphus Special: Sweeping the same pile of dust four times because the sparky walked through it.

The Tea Test: Making brews that will be critiqued with more intensity than a Gordon Ramsay kitchen.

Tool Hunting: Mastering the art of finding the drill that was "just there a second ago."

The Long Game: Learning carpentry once you’ve mastered the ancient arts of listening, grafting, and not taking life too seriously.

What You Need:

A Thick Skin: If "constructive feedback" makes you want to call your therapist, this isn't the job for you.

Resilience: The ability to take instructions (and the odd bit of stick) without melting like a snowflake in July.

Punctuality: "Early morning" isn't a suggestion; it's a requirement.
