Nick's Chimney Sweeps

🔥💨 New pricing lists for 2027 💨🔥

As of January 2027 I will be slightly increasing pricing for my services. This is something I have tried to put off for quite a few years now but due to the current climate and rising costs for consumables and fuel etc, it is now necessary.

A big thank you to all my regular customers over the past years for the business and support and I look forward to it continuing.

Any bookings prior to the new year will be charged the current rate. I am already starting to book up as the cold weather approaches so get in contact soon for any chimney services!

All sweeping services include smoke tests and issued certificates ✅

Beautiful day to be up high ☀️

First post in a while but it’s been busy, busy, busy. Just a quick before and after of a lovely property built back in 1810. One open fire and a log burner swept there today.

Nearly booked up for the year now!

It’s been a while since I posted but I’ve still been busy, today deserved a post.

What a day to be up high ☀️ swept and fitted cowls to two chimneys on a huge renovation project in Hove right by the seafront. 23m up today so the harness was out ✅

Not a bad day to be on a roof 👌🏻

A big cast in situ sweep yesterday. Sealed, swept and draw tested. No mess and ready for another year. ✅

Back up and running as normal today. After a couple of weeks without transport, today was the first day back on the sweeps with the new motor. Apologies to anyone I have had to rearrange lately!

☀️ Beautiful day to be up on a roof, four caps fitted for a customer and a couple of sweeps.

It’s been a miserable, wet winter but hopefully that is it now. Please do get in contact if your open fire or log burner needs a sweep after the winter just gone. Also this is the perfect time to get up on a roof and get those chimney pots fitted with caps and cowls!

Thank you all! 🔥

An old birds nest removed from a capped off chimney.

The customer had damp issues within the chimney. This was the reason why. Three bags of nest removed this morning. It was damp, wet and was stopping any ventilation throughout the chimney.

Nesting season is in progress but as this was an old nest and the chimney was capped, the nest wasn’t in use and therefor could be removed.

My office for the day. A big Inglenook fireplace. This thing was huge! Three bags of soot and birds nest removed. Cleaned up, smoke tested and good to go ✅🔥
