⚠️ ❌ Carbon Monoxide Alarm ❌ ⚠️

🚨We recently attended a property to investigate a report of a CO alarm sounding.

Upon arrival the engineer accessed the top of the boiler and found the boiler casing had melted, due to escaped products of combustion.

He removed the front cover and found the aluminium burner had split; allowing products of combustion to escape internally.

❌ The appliance was classified as Immediately Dangerous, disconnected from the gas supply and a warning notice issued.

🏥The occupants were advised to seek medical advice regarding CO poisoning, as one occupant was symptomatic

☠️ Carbon Monoxide - The Silent Killer

Symptoms include:
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Weakness
- Vomiting
- Chest pain
- Confusion

💦🧰 Recent chemical flush 🧰💦

📱A customer reported radiators that failed to heat well throughout the property

👀 We checked water quality and found the heating system to have a significant amount of magnetite present

✅ We chemically flushed the heating system and dosed with inhibitor upon completion

📷 Video shows how poor the water quality was when we started, compared to as clear as from the tap when we finished 👍🏻

🔥 Rinnai Low Nox Condensing Water Heater 🔥
The existing water heater had failed, flooding the plantroom.

We supplied and installed a replacement water heater on a tight timeframe, to reinstate hot water to the school kitchen.

We re positioned the flue to comply with regulations and disinfected the pipework upon completion 💪🏻

Excellent customer service from Ryan at Plumb Centre Kingston Park, as usual 🙌🏻

🛠️ Boosted water pump installation 🛠️

We supplied, installed and commissioned a new pump today. The existing pump was defective and a direct replacement wasn't possible as it was obsolete.

We added the fault signal for the BMS to the control unit, meaning the panel would show if any of the 3 pumps go into fault.

We also added a low water level float to the booster tank and wired it to the pumps, to prevent the pumps running if the tank ever became empty
