🌿 Paving Project Progress 🌿

Great progress being made on our latest Indian sandstone paving project! 👌

The transformation is really starting to take shape, with the new paving making a huge difference to the side access.

There’s still a little way to go before we can call this one complete:

🔨 Rendering to finish in the rear garden
🧱 Coping stones to install
🪨 Remaining Indian paving to complete
📐 Edging stones to finish everything off neatly

It’s all coming together nicely! 🙌

Keep an eye out for the finished pictures — we’re looking forward to seeing the final transformation.

🔨 A GREAT FEW DAYS FOR THE POPPY TEAM! 🔨

When it comes to laying a large area of paving, preparation is everything! 👌

The first stage of this project has now been fully dug out, prepared and compacted, and we’ve made a great start laying the Kandla Grey Indian sandstone.

There’s still plenty to go, but it’s brilliant to see the transformation beginning to take shape. The team have certainly put a shift in this week! 💪

🔨 THE POPPY TEAM ARE BACK IN ACTION! 🔨

After a quiet few weeks due to personal commitments, the Poppy Properties team are back at it! 💪

And we’ve certainly picked a decent-sized project to get stuck into…

🏡 This week we commenced a whopping 85m² Indian sandstone paving project right here in our home village!

Over the last few days, the lads have been busy:

🚜 Dug out the existing concrete and tarmac, filling an 8 tonne skip

🪨 Laid 6 tonnes of MOT Type 1 in preparation for the first stage of the project

🧱 Taken delivery of 4 pallets of Kandla Grey Indian sandstone – a big shout out to Melton Stone for a fantastic product and great service!

There’s still a good few weeks of work ahead of us on this one, with plenty more preparation, paving and finishing touches to come. We’re looking forward to seeing the transformation take shape! 👌

🚨 HELPING A LOCAL BUSINESS IN THEIR TIME OF NEED 🚨

We received an urgent call this week from The Hair Lounge by Becky after an unfortunate accident resulted in a customer breaking one of the large front windows.

Thankfully, nobody was hurt, which is the most important thing.

At the drop of a hat, the Poppy Properties team headed straight out to help. We:

🔹 Safely removed and cleared all broken glass
🔹 Cleaned the surrounding area thoroughly
🔹 Boarded and secured the window
🔹 Made sure everything was left safe, secure and tidy

Being a local business ourselves, we know how important it is to support other local businesses when something unexpected happens. ❤️

This week we completed the installation of a galvanised steel handrail, making this beautiful garden much more accessible for its elderly owners. ❤️
