Willen Tree Woodwork

🔨 Another job completed this week!

A full refurbishment of this porch, removing all the old, rotten timber and replacing it with new rosewood uPVC.

We’ve kept the original style of the porch whilst giving it a much-needed freshen up, with a smart new finish that will require very little maintenance in the years to come.

A great improvement from what was there before!

A recent job completed 👌

We made this bespoke oak vanity unit to suit the space, finished off with a solid surface top. Really pleased with how this one turned out and how well it fits into the room.

There was quite a bit more to this job than the vanity unit too, including fitting two sets of Wren wardrobes supplied by the customer, making additional units and drawers for the kitchen, and adding shelving into the bathroom cupboard.

All made and fitted by us. 🔨

✨ Bespoke wardrobes with a hidden surprise inside…

Designed to blend seamlessly into the room, these fitted wardrobes were spray finished to match the walls, with touch-to-open doors keeping everything completely handleless and clean.

Open them up and you’re greeted with oak interiors, finished in a durable poly lacquer, with bespoke drawers, shelving and plenty of hanging space. 👌

Clean and understated on the outside, warm natural oak on the inside — we’re really pleased with how these turned out!

Another bespoke timber window completed ✔️

This project involved manufacturing a new mock sash window to replace an existing rotten timber window, while retaining and incorporating the original opening sash.

By reusing the existing opening section, we were able to preserve the original character of the window while providing a new, durable frame built to last.

Every window is made to measure to suit the property, ensuring a perfect fit and maintaining the appearance of the original building wherever possible.

When you get a phone call from an old work mate, “I could do with a few shelves making.” Go and have a look and it turns out it’s a full bookshop! “Oh and we’d like a tree making”.

The whole teams done an amazing job with this one, our biggest manufacturing job with over 75 sheets of hidro mdf and over 300 meters of Italian lime. 25 meters of floor to ceiling book shelving.

As well as the shelving there is the reception desk with shelving space for the printer and drawer space. Finished in the same colour and Walnut worktops, an addition to the shelving is a ladder making it easier to get to the higher shelves.

And probably the biggest challenge yet, a tree! I was given the brief, we’d like a tree in the kids corner, sent a few images of the idea they’d like. Numerous head scratches later a tree was grown.

A big thank you and well done to James and Jonno who have worked incredibly hard, Jonno spending weeks in the spray booth.

Another big thank you to for the excellent photographs.

The Next Chapter - Bookshop & Gifts opening this Saturday, thank you for the work and looking forward to seeing it busy.
