Bifold doors or sliding doors? 🚪
It’s one of the biggest decisions homeowners make when designing an extension or conversion—but which is actually better?
👉 Bifold doors
✅ Open almost the entire wall
✅ Great for connecting your home and garden
❌ More frames can interrupt the view
❌ Need space for the doors to fold
👉 Sliding doors
✅ Bigger panes of glass and better views
✅ Let in more natural light
✅ Save space
❌ Only around half the opening can be open at one time
There isn’t a right or wrong answer—it depends on how you want to use the space, your budget, and what matters most to you.
