I was recently asked to come out and quote for a gutter clearance before the rainy weather.

When I arrived, I did a camera inspection first… and the gutters were actually completely clear. There was nothing to remove so I told the customer they didn’t need a gutter clean and they weren’t charged a penny.

I’d much rather be honest than charge someone for work that doesn’t need doing.

We saw this recent post from the Health & Safety Executive highlighting a company prosecuted after workers were photographed carrying out roof work with no fall protection.

✅ We use our mobile scaffold tower wherever it’s the safest option.
✅ For awkward or hard-to-reach roofs, we hire a cherry picker so the job can be completed safely.
✅ We carry out roof cleaning using methods that protect both our team and your roof tiles.

It might take a little longer or cost us more to do a job safely, but no roof is worth risking someone’s life.

We recently had a customer contact us after his mum sadly passed away. He needed to sell her house and wanted to get the garden and driveway tidied up and looking presentable before putting the property on the market.

✨ Another part of this property looking fresh again!

Earlier this year we had the pleasure of cleaning this customer’s roof and yesterday they invited us back to tackle their garden brick wall.

This week’s roof clean in Red Lodge 🙌

This customer is getting new windows, cladding and fascias fitted, so it made perfect sense to get the roof cleaned first. Doing it this way means no moss or debris ends up on the new installations, and the whole house gets a fresh, clean start from the top down.

It’s a very messy job removing all the moss, but we always make sure we clean everything up thoroughly afterwards so the property is left tidy and presentable.

We carefully removed all the moss using controlled low pressure and then applied a professional biocide to help slow down regrowth. The roof has come up looking brilliant 👌

If you’re planning any exterior upgrades, it’s definitely worth thinking about getting the roof done first.
