This very large Poplar had failed in the recent storms. Covering 2 neighbouring gardens and damaging only 2 fence panels and a shed, they were very lucky.

We removed all wood and waste without causing any more damage, which meant the fence posts didn’t need to be replaced saving money on repairs.

This tree had obvious signs of rot and a high potential of failure.

We could have removed the tree before it failed if they had asked us for a free health and safety assessment that we can provide for anyone with a high risk or potentially dangerous large tree.

Large sycamore removal from last week. This tree was infested with Kretzschmaria deusta, a fungal pathogen that causes soft rot in hardwood trees.

The fungus decays the wood, leading to structural instability and potential tree collapse.

For this reason we opted to use a cherry picker to maximise safety for the climber and mitigate any risk of failing limbs.

Being protected by a Tree Preservation Order, all applications were carried out by ourselves and permission was granted.

Massive Poplar tree we removed for safety reasons this week. After successfully applying for the TPO permission for our client on behalf of the parish church.

4 Large stems leaning over local properties, the club house and bowling green. Limited access meant no machinery so traditional methods of lowering techniques combined with skill and man power were used.

Excellent effort from the team as always. Maintaining a safe and professional working environment while processing a large amount of timber very efficiently.
