Challenge accepted. We were recently asked by one of customers if we could help improve their staircase and make it more of a feature to add character. It also came with the additional problem that it was never designed or built correctly in the first place. We commissioned some oversized newel posts, moving their position and the handrail away from the bulkhead, allowing hands to pass freely without having to let go of the handrail or trapping fingers. Sounds simple but this was a really tricky little project and the clients were delighted with the final results.

Lovely feedback this week from a repeat customer. We’ve just installed the windows and they said in all the years they’ve lived here they’ve never slept so well. The road noise from the A1 has always been a nuisance in the background, but now they can’t hear it and slept better than ever.

We’ll have more pics to follow soon when the scaffold comes down.

I think these have to be some of the largest sliding sash windows we’ve ever made. We cant wait to see them in.

What a difference, redesigned from the existing single door to a double door entrance with art deco brass handles and an etched fanlight. This customer wanted something simple yet substantial.

Word of mouth really does go a long way — and this week it went the distance!
I met with two new clients and was blown away to hear we’d been recommended by five different people — none of whom the clients knew and all in separate meetings!

A lovely replica door installed this week. The glass panel contains the original glass in an encapsulated unit.
This door offers charm and added kerb appeal. It gives the customer peace of mind with increased security, heat retention and reduces unwanted external noise.

We took the opportunity to take a few pictures today when visiting a customer.
You might remember this door, affectionately nicknamed 'the geo-door', it was manufactured and installed by us back in November.
The property owner has reaped the benefit over the winter months....no more draughts. They also commented on the reduction of noise from the outside. The door is a beautiful addition to this home.
