Called out to a tripping socket circuit.

A local qualified electrician installed this fuseboard just 1 year ago. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Anyone spot the worst fault of all?!

It is safe to say, we removed the whole lot and started again. Sadly, I didn’t get a finished photo of my work 😔 but the customers are now feeling much safer 😌

It’s been a busy start to the year! As you know, I am bad at keeping up with social media 😅

Anyway - here is a recent board we did on a relocation job. The old fuseboard was out of reach and needed to be upgraded anyway.

We also bonded the water and gas pipe ✅✅

Ring main fault finding after a failed EICR. No continuity on the neutral conductor.
Multiple faults on the circuit but this was the worst one - loose connection had melted the socket! It’s been sparking away for a while.

Crazy to think this was rewired only 10 years ago!
