Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall is owned by the people of Kirton. It is not a civic building (ie owned by the local authority). It has recently undergone a million pound renovation to make it a beautiful, special venue and a real hidden secret nestled in the heart of North Lincolnshire.

Slight change to our usual meeting date. Next month we meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Thursday 8th October. We will be receiving a Kate Mosse book for those of you who wish to come and join us.

We are a friendly group, we don't take things too seriously. The main aim is to enjoy (or not enjoy) a book that you wouldn't necessarily pick off of the shelves in a shop, have a good laugh and conversation surrounding it whilst getting distracted and putting the world to rights at the same time. We are a mixture of ages and backgrounds and we are all there for something different and a change of four walls. Come along on Thursday 8th - we guarantee you will have a good time! FRIDAY IS COMMUNITY SHOP DAY!

This week, Friday 11th September, we have another great selection of fruit and vegetables, plus frozen potatoes, breaded chicken and some autumnal soups.

Our picks of the week include Marmite Caramel Sauce, Asda pizzas and pasta salad pots, plus some Sokolow weekend sausage.

There is also some tiger bloomer bread and Haagen Dazs salted caramel ice creams.

It is always worth a visit as there will be something different to tempt you every week. EVERYONE WELCOME.
