First off the Panasonic Power Heat air to air units that we have installed.

As well as being anthracite and come standard with treated coils, they are fitted with base pan heaters. Making them more suitable for harsher environments, like this house in Aberdeenshire which can see temperatures well into the minus!! ◼️🔧♨️❄️

Folks, now we have hit "that" season again, we are getting a number of calls indicating their air-to-air heat pump is "playing up" - if you find your units closing down and the green light is flashing, this usually indicates that the outdoor unit is simply defrosting itself and needs to run through its defrost process.
Give it the 20 min rule - do not switch the units off, they should come back on as normal in around 15 to 20 mins.
If they do not, double check that they are all on "heat" only mode, switch them off and then back on again and 95 times out of 100 all will be good. I highly recommend that you take your units off any timer you have them on, and run them 24hrs during this cold snap.
Should the timer light be flashing however, that is the time to give us a call or DM - 01856 870029.
