Took advantage of the glorious sunshine today to look in on a previous stone consultation project. Our condition survey identified a need to dismantle and rebuild this chimney. After checking the dismantled stone it was decided that many stones were badly compromised by decay and needed replacement. We arranged stone and mortar analysis, drafted scale workshop drawings for the stonemasons to use, sourced competitive prices from contractors, and project managed through to successful completion.

At Trinity Parish Church in Leslie (Fife) today to carry out a high level masonry survey. Calls made to Fife Airport and Edinburgh Air Traffic Control to advise them of flights due to the close proximity of Fife Airport. Always ensure your drone operator is registered with the CAA and appropriately insured to EC 785/2004 standard. 😀
