Just a wee post on feedback, reputation and accountability π
As a small, local business, our reputation means everything to us. We've worked incredibly hard to build a business we're proud of, and we never take the trust our customers place in us for granted.
Today, we were made aware of a comment on a local Facebook group advising people to avoid our company due to alleged problems with an installation.
What makes this particularly disappointing is that the comment was made anonymously.
We completely respect that people may have reasons for choosing to post anonymously. However, when serious allegations are made publicly about a business, anonymity makes it incredibly difficult for that business to investigate, respond meaningfully or put things right.
We're the first to acknowledge that no business is perfect. Things can occasionally go wrong, and when they do, we believe it's how a business responds that really matters.
While we do occasionally have remedial works to carry out, as is the case in our industry, all warranty matters brought to our attention are being addressed. We are not aware of any unresolved complaints that have been left unattended, nor can we identify the circumstances described in this particular comment.
It is particularly frustrating to see such claims made anonymously when we have not been given the opportunity to establish who the customer is, what the alleged issues are, or whether they have even been brought to our attention.
We've responded publicly, inviting the individual to contact us directly so we can investigate their concerns.
We welcome genuine feedback, good or bad. What we ask for in return is a fair opportunity to address it.
Behind every small business is a team of hardworking people whose livelihoods depend on the reputation they've worked so hard to build.
We will always stand by our work, our team and our commitment to our customers. And to everyone who continues to support, recommend and trust RRR, thank you.
It really does mean the world to us. π
And if you've got to the end of this rather long post, gold star to you π π
