Preventative maintenance on this Valtra 🔧🚜
A bit of preventative maintenance can save a big breakdown later. Attended this Valtra for a belt replacement after signs of wear were found on the drive belts and tensioner.
Both the old and new belts show just how much difference regular inspection can make. The tensioner and pulleys were also checked while everything was apart, ensuring the new belts are running correctly and the system is ready for plenty more hours of work.
Another job completed before a worn belt becomes a broken belt — keeping the tractor working and downtime to a minimum.

🚜 Keeping GroundServ Yorkshire Ltd Moving!

Another breakdown attended today for GroundServ Yorkshire Ltd after their Avant 635 loader suddenly developed a no-start issue.

After a quick diagnosis, the fault was traced to the fuel system and the machine was soon back up and running after fitting new fuel filters. 🔧💨

Always good to get a customer back working quickly and, more importantly, keep the job on track! 💪

The Avant 635 is now back out earning its keep, and is available for hire with an operator, with a range of attachments available — including the flail mower pictured and various other attachments to suit different jobs.

Whether it's flail mowing, grounds maintenance, vegetation clearance or general site work, GroundServ Yorkshire Ltd can provide the machine and operator to get the job done. Proper bit of kit!

Keeping the old iron earning its keep! 🚜
A bit of servicing work on this Massey Ferguson 35, giving this old girl some well-earned attention and keeping her ready for work.
There’s something satisfying about working on machinery from a time when things were built to be maintained, repaired and kept going — no computers, no complicated electronics, just good old-fashioned engineering. 👌
A proper bit of history, and with the right maintenance there’s still plenty of life left in these old workhorses.
Another classic kept on the job. 🔧🚜

It is important that the PTO shaft is cut to the correct length for the tractor and implement. If it is too long, it can bottom out when the machine is raised or lowered and cause damage to the PTO or gearbox. If it is too short, there may not be enough shaft overlap, increasing the risk of the shaft coming apart. Getting the length right helps the machine run safely, smoothly and reduces unnecessary wear and damage. Everyday is a school Day!!
New gear box orderd amd will be back up and running when it arrives and re fitted and will be cutting the PTO to the correct Length.
