Nicholls Boreholes is a highly experienced borehole drilling company having drilled well over 1100 boreholes to date. We supply, install and maintain water boreholes, vertical ground source heat pump (GSHP) boreholes, ground source heat pump systems and deep bore soakaways for houses and businesses and, more recently, cathodic protection boreholes. We deliver a uniquely comprehensive service with

our own in-house team undertaking every aspect of your project from site survey to final checks and aftercare service. We are MCS accredited installers of Ground Source Heat Pumps giving you access to Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) Payments. RHI is a financial support scheme which will provide long-term financial incentives for installations of renewable technologies which generate heat. We are a specialist, family-run borehole drilling business and combine fully qualified and highly experienced staff with state of the art machinery to ensure an efficient service in most locations and geologies. Our borehole driller equipment is designed to access sites of all sizes with minimum impact or disruption, whether they are golf courses, leisure facilities, agricultural, commercial or residential land. A particular area of expertise is water borehole drilling. Investing in a water borehole can save money, reduce carbon emissions and add value to property. Our borehole drillers cover a large area of the South, including West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, London, Kent, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Middlesex and other areas of the UK and have drilled in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

An interesting read in The Sunday Times on solving a very real problem. After years of poor water pressure and leaks, this family installed a borehole, giving them their own independent supply and, effectively, mineral water straight from the tap.

It’s a significant upfront investment, but the long-term benefits (and the time saved not watering the garden for hours each day) clearly add up.

A good reminder that sometimes the most impactful home improvements aren’t the obvious ones.
