⚠️ Local Burglary Warning – CO4 Area

Over the past week, we have attended four properties within the CO4 postcode, specifically around Ipswich Road and St John’s Road, which have unfortunately been burgled.

There are several similarities between the incidents. Each property has public footpaths or accessible public areas directly behind the premises, and the properties appear to have been entered in a similar manner, with the same types of items being targeted and stolen.

While we cannot confirm whether these incidents are connected but from our experience we suspect this is organised crime

🔐 Please remain vigilant, particularly if you have a rear garden, alleyway, footpath or other accessible area behind your property.

Check that rear gates, doors and windows are properly secured, keep valuable items out of sight, and report any suspicious activity to the police.

This customer had a go at picking their bedroom lock using a couple of wires — not a bad attempt! 🔐

Thankfully, we were able to gain entry by professionally picking the lock in under 30 seconds.

Another lock opened quickly and without unnecessary damage. 👌
