Another Orangery Completed 👌

Another small orangery completed, with all the walls carefully prepared and plastered to a high standard.

With plenty of windows, doors and awkward angles to work around, getting a neat, consistent finish took care and attention to detail.

All the necessary preparation was carried out before applying the plaster, ensuring the walls were ready for a smooth, quality finish. Extra care was taken around the window reveals, door frames and timber beams to leave everything looking neat and sharp.

Really pleased with how this one turned out. A lovely orangery transformed with fresh, smooth plastered walls, ready for decorating.
Another job completed to a high standard! 💪

Garden Building Plastering – Preparation and Finished Work 🛠️

Recently completed the plastering throughout this decent-sized garden building, including the main living area and adjoining rooms.
The job involved plenty of preparation to ensure all the walls and ceilings were ready for a quality finish.
I prepared the surfaces, dealt with the joints and beaded where necessary.
Particular attention was given to the corners, window reveals, door openings and junctions between the walls and ceilings to achieve neat, sharp lines throughout.

Once all the preparation was complete, I skimmed the walls and ceilings, working methodically around the large open-plan area, windows, patio doors and smaller adjoining rooms. With plenty of edges, openings and different sections to work around, it was important to take my time and maintain a consistent finish across the whole building.

The aim was to leave every surface smooth, with clean corners and crisp edges, ready for painting.

Another decent-sized plastering job completed, with plenty of preparation, attention to detail and a quality finish throughout. Really pleased with how it's all come together!

Before starting, the medium-stipple Artex ceilings were tested for asbestos, and the results came back clear, confirming that no asbestos was detected in the samples tested.

I then scraped back the high points of the Artex to reduce the texture, prepared the surfaces and applied the appropriate primer before skimming all the ceilings with Multi Finish plaster.

With the right preparation and attention to detail, the ceilings have been transformed from medium textured Artex into smooth, fresh finishes. Really pleased with how these have turned out! 👌

Another job completed to a high standard. 💪

Completed the preparation and plastering of this large orangery, transforming the walls, ceilings and detailed skylight recesses to achieve a smooth, professional finish.

The preparation was particularly important on this job, with large expanses of wall and ceiling, multiple window reveals, sharp angles and a feature rooflight that required plenty of care and attention to detail.

The walls were then skimmed to a smooth finish, with particular attention paid to the window reveals, narrow sections between the glazing, corners and the large opening leading into the existing kitchen.

The ceilings involved plenty of detailed work, especially around the large rooflight. The angled sections, deep reveals and changes in direction all needed careful preparation and precise plastering to achieve neat lines and a consistent finish.

With so much natural light coming through the extensive glazing and overhead skylight, getting the finish right was especially important, as natural light can highlight even the smallest imperfections.

A job with plenty of fiddly details, but really pleased with how it's come together. The sharp edges, smooth walls and neatly finished skylight recesses bring the whole orangery together, ready for the next stage of the renovation.

Another job completed with care, precision and attention to detail from start to finish. 💪🔨🏠

80m² Ceiling Skim Completed 👌
A big ceiling skim on this large open-plan extension, covering approximately 80 square metres. All prepped and ready for plastering before applying two coats of Multi Finish to achieve a smooth, flat finish throughout.
With a ceiling this size, good preparation, working methodically and keeping the plaster moving are essential to achieving a consistent finish across the whole area. Plenty of surface to cover, but really satisfying to get a ceiling like this looking right.
Another big ceiling ticked off! 💪

Don’t come across this very often on jobs! 👌

Lots of precise angle beading and plenty of fiddly, time-consuming work to get everything just right. Definitely a job that required plenty of patience and attention to detail, but really pleased with how it turned out.

Sharp angles, clean lines and a great finish. Another one completed to a high standard. 💪
