"There's not enough sun in the Midlands for solar." We hear this most weeks.

UK solar systems are specified for the UK climate, not a Mediterranean one. Panels generate on overcast days too. Output drops, it doesn't stop.

What actually decides whether solar makes sense at your house:

Roof orientation. South is best, but east-west split works better than people assume because it spreads generation across the day.

Shading. A chimney or a neighbour's tree matters far more than your postcode does.

When you use power. If the house is empty 9 to 5, you need storage to make the numbers work.

So the honest answer isn't yes or no, it's depends, and it's worth ten minutes with someone who'll actually look at your roof rather than sell you a system off a template.

Comment SOLAR and we'll give you the straight version for your setup.

We'll come out and tell you exactly what an EV charger would cost at your house. Before you commit to anything.

No quoting off a photo. We look at your consumer unit, your cable route and your supply, and then give you a number that doesn't move later.

What you get:

A proper site survey, free, no obligation.

An eligibility check on the OZEV grant, in case your property qualifies.

A recommendation based on your tariff and setup, not on one brand.

A fully certified install by a NICEIC approved, OZEV authorised installer.

Most people put this off because they don't know what it'll involve. This is the bit that removes that.

Free EV charger site survey across Dudley, Kingswinford, Stourbridge and Brierley Hill.

Most people put off getting a quote because they don't know what the job involves. This removes that.

We come out, look at your consumer unit, work out the cable route to where you park, and check your incoming supply. Then you get a fixed price that doesn't move once we start.

While we're there we'll check whether your property still qualifies for OZEV grant support. The rules changed and most houses no longer do, but flats and rentals often still qualify and it's worth confirming either way.

We fit Ohme, Zappi, Hypervolt, Andersen and Project EV. We're not tied to one brand, so the recommendation comes from your energy tariff and your setup.

Free, no obligation, no pressure. Tap Book below to pick a time.

EV charger installation in Dudley, Kingswinford and across the Black Country.

We're an OZEV authorised, NICEIC approved installer fitting Ohme, Zappi, Hypervolt, Andersen and Project EV home chargers.

What the price actually depends on: your consumer unit, the cable run from board to parking space, and your incoming supply. That's why we survey before we quote rather than pricing off a photo, so the number you get is the number you pay.

Every install is tested, certified and notified. You get the paperwork the same week.

Based at Unit 4 Darwin House, Dudley Innovation Centre, Kingswinford DY6 7YB. We cover Dudley, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Brierley Hill, Wolverhampton and the wider West Midlands.

Book a free site survey using the button below, or call us on 01384 869399 and we'll talk it through first.

☀️ Another busy week of solar! 🔋

We’ve connected and commissioned a number of solar PV systems this week, getting homeowners up and running with their own renewable energy.

From installation through to testing and commissioning, we make sure every system is set up properly and ready to start generating. ⚡️

It’s great to see more and more customers looking at solar, battery storage and smarter energy solutions to reduce their reliance on the grid and make the most of the energy they generate.

A few more systems ticked off this week — and plenty more to come! 👊

📍 Serving Dudley, Kingswinford, Stourbridge & across the West Midlands
