Interesting job undertaken today at the Old Custom House along Market Place in Hull's Old Town. Some of the old sandstone frontage has deteriorated and has been coming away from the building facade. All loose stonework taken down and made safe for our Client Hull City Council. Safe working at height being carried out by the team.

Partial dismantling of an 18-metre high bran silo being undertaken for our Client, Sedamyl UK, Selby, North Yorkshire. Careful hot-cutting work, craneage and dismantling being undertaken. Safe and steady work from our site team.

Work underway with our project at Hodgson Sealants Ltd. in Beverley, East Yorkshire for our client Geo. Houlton & Sons Ltd taking down various structures to make way for a new warehouse on site. Steady work by our site team.

Shearing up for scrap one of the under-deck walkways at the Humber Bridge site which have now been de-commissioned. Once essential pieces of equipment used to access the underside of the bridge deck for maintenance and repair. As engineering techniques and working practices advanced, new and more efficient methods of carrying out inspections and repairs beneath the road deck were developed making the gantries surplus to requirements.
