🎨🤝 Giving Back to the Armed Forces Community
Over two days, employees from Circle Waste and AMA used their Community Volunteering Days to support The Bridge for Heroes by transforming and repainting their community space. The centre was looking a little tired and in need of some TLC, and our teams were delighted to help give it a fresh new look.
The Bridge for Heroes is a charity dedicated to supporting members of the Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, reservists, and their families, across King's Lynn, West Norfolk, and the surrounding areas.
From their welcoming Bridge Centre in King's Lynn, they provide a safe and supportive environment where people can access advice, practical support, companionship, and a sense of belonging.
Their work makes a real difference to those who have served, are currently serving, and the families who support them.
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered over the two days. Together, five volunteers joined the project on Monday, with a further four returning on Thursday, working tirelessly to complete the transformation in record time.
Helen Taylor, CEO of The Bridge for Heroes, said:
"It was wonderful to welcome your team to the Bridge Centre over the two days, with five volunteers joining us on Monday and a further four on Thursday. They were incredibly hard-working and got everything done in record time! We hope we can work together again soon."
We are incredibly proud to support such an important local charity and contribute to a space that provides vital support to the Armed Forces community.
Thank you to The Bridge for Heroes for welcoming us, and to all our volunteers from Circle Waste and AMA for giving their time and energy to make a positive impact.
