A TREE TRANSFORMATION — 6 MONTHS ON

This is how we left the tree after carefully pruning it back. We worked through the tree step by step with the client, discussing how much she wanted removed and making sure she was happy with it throughout.

Fast forward 6 months and look at it now! 🌱
A healthy, full tree with lots of fresh new growth. It’s amazing to see how much it has filled back out.

Before we started, the tree was heavily overgrown and had very little foliage due to the time of year.

The client was initially worried about taking too much off and how the tree would respond, so we took our time and worked together to achieve the amount she was comfortable with.

A brilliant example of how the right pruning, carried out carefully, can give a tree the space to grow back healthy and full. 🌳

Fly-tipping in Y Gwendraeth Park

We have come across a pile of boxes that have been fly-tipped in Y Gwendraeth Park, Kidwelly.

Could whoever is responsible please come back and collect them. This is fly-tipping and should not be left in the park.

We have also noticed recently that the bins are filling up very quickly with household waste. These bins are for park users and are not intended for household rubbish.

Please help us keep the park clean and tidy and dispose of your waste responsibly. Thank you.

Today’s location 📍🌿

A little different today — changing things up!

After a super busy summer, the grass is finally starting to slow down, which means we’ve been able to jump onto some of our other jobs, including hedge work, tree work and general garden maintenance.

With the winter months on the way, now is a great time to get those hedges and trees sorted before the colder months arrive.

We’ve been so busy this year that we hardly get the chance to post any of the work we’re out doing, and we haven’t had our books properly open for a while!

As things start to ease up, we’ll have more availability coming up over the next few weeks and months, so if you’ve got a hedge, trees or any other garden work that needs doing, feel free to get in touch.

🌿 Throwback to one of our larger garden transformations from earlier this year. 🌿

This project involved a full garden clearance, including the removal of overgrown hedges, extensive ivy clearance from walls and boundaries, cutting back and tidying vegetation, general garden tidy-ups, and a thorough patio clean and conservatory clean

A lot of hard work went into bringing this garden back under control and creating a clean, tidy, and usable outdoor space once again.

⚠️ PLEASE READ ⚠️

Unfortunately, both public toilets in Kidwelly will be closed for a few days due to severe vandalism.

This is extremely disappointing, as these facilities are provided for the benefit of the whole community and visitors to the town. The extent of the damage means repairs now need to be carried out before they can reopen.

Super busy 2 days getting all these hanging baskets ready and put up around the towns

Huge thank you to Swiss Valley Garden Centre for preparing everything for us and all the hard work that’s gone into it.

Keep an eye out and see if you can spot any around Kidwelly and Mynydd-y-Garreg.

Next job will be planting up the flower planters in Kidwelly Town Square.

Park play areas refreshed ✅

We were asked to tackle a few local playgrounds in Kidwelly and mynydd y garreg following concerns they had become dirty and slippery. We’ve removed built-up dirt, algae, and grime from the safety surfaces and equipment.

This not only improves how it looks, but makes it safer for children to play on.
