Thinking of inspecting your wall ties? Concerned about cracks to your properties walls?
Here's a few examples of severely corroded wall ties following a recent investigation and remedial works. These wall ties were affected by highly acidic black ash mortar, causing expansion and damage to the walls. The property was also inspected with use of a borescope to support findings following numerous horizontal cracks. Corrosion is most likely in the external leaf, causing this pattern of cracks.
