Established in 1868, providing high-quality buildings in and around Oxfordshire for over 150 years.

We are proud of our history, our founder Thomas Henry Kingerlee was a plumber living in Banbury. Two of his great, great grandsons, David Kingerlee and Richard Wilsdon, are still involved in running the business today. Supported by a loyal and competent supply chain, our experienced workforce of 130 people have the combined skills to undertake historical and modern building projects up to the value of £35 million. We pride ourselves on our non-adversarial approach and the high quality of our work. We remain committed as a business to the ongoing development of our people and of our technical knowledge and abilities.

Congratulations to our fantastic Kingerlee Oxford Half Marathon runners! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Together, Team Kingerlee has raised an incredible £1,184 and counting for Sobell House. 💙

Well done to everyone who took part. All those early mornings, training runs before work and miles covered in the dark certainly paid off. It was fantastic to see so many local businesses, friends and supporters of Kingerlee coming together to cheer each other on and raise money for such a worthy cause.

Created to host groups and events within a luxury hospitality estate, this versatile and thoughtfully designed building includes adaptable meeting spaces, two well-appointed bars, a fully equipped commercial kitchen, and a platform lift to ensure accessibility.

Structurally, the building is supported by a robust primary steel frame with masonry infill external walls. Clad in fire-resistant timber, the building has a wonderfully rustic aesthetic that complements the surrounding estate.

This World Mental Health Day, we are supporting the message that help should be easy to access, whenever and wherever it's needed.

Life can be challenging both inside and outside of work, which is why having accessible support and encouraging open conversations around mental health is so important.

We are committed to creating a culture where conversations around mental health are encouraged and support is readily available. We have 16 trained Mental Health First Aiders across our business, covering a range of sectors and roles, ensuring there is always someone to talk to.

We're also proud to continue supporting the Lighthouse Charity, whose free and confidential services are available to everyone in the construction community. Whether you're experiencing stress, anxiety, financial worries, or simply need someone to listen, support is just a call, click, or conversation away.

This World Mental Health Day, let's remind ourselves and those around us that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Seeing The Radcliffe Observatory up close!

Since the start of Phase Two, scaffolding has been erected around the building, providing a rare opportunity to view some of the Observatory's remarkable architectural features up close, including the intricate zodiac carvings pictured.

As this important conservation project continues, our team is working carefully to preserve and protect this iconic Oxford landmark for future generations.

We look forward to sharing further updates as this conservation project progresses.

Recently achieving practical completion, our Special Projects team has successfully delivered a new r***e range complex for the Bicester Sports Association in Chesterton.

The project involved the construction of a steel-framed building featuring a combination of timber and metal cladding. Internally, the facility comprises two shooting bays, a clubroom, kitchenette, a changing room, concrete armoury and WC facilities.

A unique and interesting project to be part of, and a fantastic addition to the Association's facilities.

Yesterday, the Kingerlee team came together to say farewell to Ashley Hall as he closes an important chapter in his working life and begins a well-earned retirement.

During his five years with Kingerlee, Ashley contributed to a wide range of projects, from private homes and commercial developments to laboratory facilities. His knowledge, dedication and expertise have been greatly valued by colleagues and clients alike.

As Ashley embarks on this exciting new chapter, he already has plenty to look forward to, including an upcoming trip to Borneo. A keen and experienced motorcyclist, Ashley also plans to volunteer with the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes, continuing to make a positive difference in his community.

Thank you, Ashley, for your commitment and contribution during your time at Kingerlee. We wish you every happiness, success and adventure in your retirement.

Spanning over 3,500 sq m across ground and basement levels, the spa features six distinctive water experiences, including a tepidarium pool, a grotto cave with waterfall, a marble-stepped pool, and plunge pools. The facility is further enhanced by luxurious treatment rooms, a steam room, a sauna, yoga studio and high-quality changing facilities.

We were proud to have delivered this complex and ambitious project, creating a space designed to provide relaxation and wellbeing.
