🚨 OCTOBER UPDATE – WYRE RESPONSE! 🚨
Lots going on behind the scenes at Wyre Response HQ as we continue to invest in new equipment, improve our setup, secure new contracts and prepare for the next stage of our growth! 💪🟢
💦 EXTERIOR CLEANING
We’ve invested in a new high-pressure hose reel which will work alongside our existing hose, giving us even greater reach on jobs where vehicle access is limited.
We’re also busy installing a new electric pump and filtration system for our water-fed pole window cleaning equipment.
For the past 8 months, we’ve been using a backpack pump permanently mounted inside the van and connected to 100 metres of hose. It’s served us brilliantly, but constantly stopping to refill it throughout the day was becoming a bit of a pain! 😂
The new system will connect directly to our onboard water tank, making the whole setup much more efficient.
👕 NEW UNIFORMS
New embroidered uniforms have been ordered from JRS Uniform Supplies!
The uniforms I originally printed myself have certainly had their fair share of use over the last few months, so it’s time for a refresh!
🦠 SPECIALIST CLEANING
A second static fogging machine has now been added to our specialist cleaning equipment, further improving our decontamination capabilities.
🤝 NEW COMMERCIAL CONTRACTS
October has also seen us begin work on a number of new commercial contracts!
One of the biggest developments has been starting work with Wyre Forest District Council (WFDC).
We’ve already completed graffiti removal jobs across the district, helping to maintain and improve local public spaces.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for Wyre Response, and we’re incredibly proud to be building relationships with local authorities and commercial clients as the business continues to grow.
🚐 VAN UPDATES
The rear chevrons have FINALLY been completed!
After completely ruining my first attempt, I’ve managed to get the second set fitted. They’re not exactly perfect either, but they’re staying where they are now! 😬😂
🧹 NEW SERVICES COMING SOON
We’ve got a number of new services being introduced over the coming weeks as we continue to develop our specialist and environmental cleaning capabilities.
And keep an eye out for our Festive Exterior House Cleaning Package, officially launching at the end of October! 🎄🏠
🚙 A SECOND VEHICLE?
We’re currently exploring options to add a second vehicle to the Wyre Response fleet!
The plan is to have a dedicated vehicle for our specialist cleaning equipment, allowing our existing van to become primarily dedicated to exterior and environmental cleaning.
With the amount of equipment we’re now carrying, we’re quickly running out of space! 🤦♂️😂
🟢 BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE
It’s hard to believe how much has changed since launching Wyre Response back in February.
The plan has always been to eventually create employment opportunities for other people as Wyre Response grows. We’re still a small, growing business, but every investment, every new customer, every new contract and every job completed helps us take another step towards building a team and creating those opportunities.
