Cast your mind back 20 years…💭🤔

The year is 2006

🏴‍☠️ Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest was the biggest movie of the year.
🎵 Songs from High School Musical were EVERYWHERE.
💻 Channel 4 launched something called The IT Crowd.
⚽ Italy won the World Cup.

But something else happened towards the end of the summer in 2006 that we’re particularly proud of… 👀

Two mates decided to take a chance and set up Turner & Rigsby Ltd — T&R.

Back then, it was all about windows and doors.

Fast forward 20 years and we’re still here! 😍🤩

From those early days working out of the spare room to our own showroom filled with products.
Not only that we’ve added more and more to what we do every year:

🚪 Composite doors Solidor Composite Doors Entrance Composite Doors
🪟 Sash box windows Quickslide
↔️ Aluminium bi-fold doors UK Doors Online
🏡 Conservatory roof replacements SupaLite Tiled Roof Systems
🏠 Cladding
🚗 Garage doors UK Doors Midlands Ltd
☀️ Rooflights
…and plenty more.

20 years. Same two mates. A whole lot more products.

And we’re not finished yet.

So here’s to 2006 to 2026.

20 years of T&R. And still going strong. ❤️🖤

🚨 BAY-WATCH UPDATE 🚨

This bay window wasn’t just due an upgrade… it needed bringing up to standard too 👀

The old sliding door didn’t open properly and had no fall protection in place — meaning it really shouldn’t have been used at all ❌

Now? A full transformation 😎

✅ Brand new bay window
✅ Safe, regulation-compliant design
✅ Proper window openers for ventilation
✅ More natural light and fresh air flowing into the room

And of course… we had to give it the T&R Bay-watch treatment 😂

If your bay window is looking washed up and in need of saving… we’ll come rescue it T&R style 🛟🔥

May the 4th be with you…

We’ll say it quietly 🤫…
but more and more homeowners are coming to the dark side ⚫

Black windows and doors are taking over for that bold, modern, “stand out on the street” look.
But don’t worry — grey isn’t going anywhere anytime soon (it’s still very much a Jedi favourite 😉).

Whether you’re team grey or tempted by the dark side, both options deliver a clean, high-end finish that transforms your home.

The real question is… which side are you on?

On the fourth day, the customer said… “let there be light.” ☀️

And who are we to argue?

Today’s job wasn’t just your standard window install… we actually lowered the brickwork to open things up and let that natural light pour into the lounge.

It’s mad how something as simple as adjusting the opening can completely change a room. More light, better view, and no need to sit there squinting at the telly anymore 😅

Another happy customer and another home transformed 🙌

If your room’s feeling a bit on the dark side, it might not be your bulbs… it might be your windows 👀

Drop us a message and we’ll help you bring a bit more light into your home.

Another big transformation completed today 🔥 and it was quite the workout 💪

Today’s install in📍Kingswinford was this huge 2.5m x 5.2m roof lantern, and safe to say the glass was that heavy… we’re all now a little bit shorter and our arms are definitely a little bit longer! 😅

Jokes aside, the end result is absolutely stunning. With rafters this slim, it genuinely feels like the roof is open—flooding the room with natural light and completely transforming the space.

Big installs like this take serious teamwork, but it’s always worth it when you stand back and see the finished result.

Are you thinking about adding a roof lantern to your home? 🤔
Or are you a builder that likes to put these on every job. 👷🏻‍♂️👷🏻‍♀️
If so, drop us a message to see how we can help.

Imagine if this was your view every morning… 👀

Today’s installation was in Stourbridge, replacing windows to two bedrooms and a bathroom.

Now we’re not saying this window was bad… but we hadn’t seen one this pane-ful in a long time!
(🤦🏻‍♂️sorry) the glass unit had broken down so badly it had turned completely obscure!

Safe to say the new energy-efficient windows have made a huge difference, restoring a clear view, improving insulation, and giving the home a fresh new look.
Rain supplied by others ☔️

If your windows are misted, cloudy, or looking a bit worse for wear, it might be time to make the change.

✨ From Dated to Dreamy! ✨

At T&R, we love a challenge that completely changes the "vibe" of a home. Our latest project was a perfect example of how the right windows can breathe new life into a property.

🏡 The Brief:
Our customer was ready to say goodbye to their outdated, dark brown windows.
They wanted a fresh, timeless look that captured a classic Cottage Design.

💡 The Process:
We know it can be hard to visualize such a big change!
To help, we created custom 3D visuals for the client. This allowed them to see exactly how the new white frames and elegant astragal bars would look before we even touched a screwdriver.
Seeing the transformation on screen gave them the confidence to go for it—and we’re so glad they did!

🏆 The Result:
The finished look is nothing short of outstanding. The crisp white finish brightens the entire exterior, while the astragal bars provide that authentic, high-end cottage charm.

Ready to give your home a facelift?

Whether you’re stuck with old brown frames or just looking for a fresh start, we’re here to help you visualize the potential.

One thing we see all the time… homeowners focus on the worst parts of what they’ve got.

The rust. The dents. The sticking mechanism. The draughts.

But here’s the truth — it’s not just about replacing an old garage door.

It’s about fixing what actually matters:

🔒 Security – A garage door is one of the biggest access points to your home. If it’s weak, worn or outdated, it’s a risk.

🏡 Status – Your home says something about you. A tired, faded door drags everything down.

✨ Kerb Appeal – The garage door can take up 30–40% of the front of your property. Get it right and the whole house lifts instantly.

😌 Peace of Mind – No more worrying if it’s locked properly. No more struggling to open it. Just smooth, solid reliability.

This latest Up & Over install in Worcester has ticked all of the above boxes, and the homeowner is over the moon.

Has your garage door seen better days?
