Just a quick update on the Malvern build.

Pile Base built to receive SIPs Panel walls and covered with breathable membrane then battens to carry the Thermowood Cladding. New to this build and future builds as a design improvement - the facia cladding now matches orientation with the wall cladding. Weather permitting we will be putting on the exterior cladding and EPDM roof.

This 'Painters Studio' will also benefit from a skylight in the roof to ensure maximum light in to the space.

WYSIWYG - Never thought I'd be saying that again in my life - but I think it goes some way to showing how I use 3D modelling to make sure I have understood my customers bespoke requirements. The 3D modelling software allows me to work closely with clients to get the design right for their 'Perfect Space'.

First commission of 2024 was a tidy little Lean-To off the back of a garage.

This used timber frame with pocket hole joints connecting it to the garage with a timber strap. It is finished with a bronze coloured polycarbonate roof and brown trims to match up with existing window and door frames of the house rather than using the standard white trims.

The trick on this one was to retain as much height under the garage's tiles so an interlocking frame design was chosen.
