Hintons are a licensed asbestos removal contractor currently looking for New/Trainee Asbestos Removal Operatives to join our team Full Time in Kidderminster.

You will be working with a small friendly team undertaking asbestos removal projects nationwide.

Training, equipment, uniform and Personal Protective Equipment & Respiratory Protective Equipment will all be provided.

Responsibilities

Undertaking asbestos removal in domestic and commercial properties for existing and new clients.

Safely getting to and from different sites on time in company vans.

Keeping a keen eye for detail and having pride in the quality of your work.

Taking care of the equipment and tools provided.

Following our task sheets/operating procedures and understanding the importance of the method statements and risk assessments that you will be provided with.

Qualifications & Experience

Trainees (new operatives) do not need prior industry experience, but an interest in buildings or property refurbishment would be beneficial.

Driving Licence required, towing licence is not essential at this stage but would be a plus.

Contract

Full time contracted hours of 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday.

£95 per day which equates to £24,700 per annum with the opportunity for overtime and progression once qualified as an asbestos removal operative.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £24,700.00 per year

We are recruiting for Asbestos removal supervisors and operatives to join our expanding team in the Midlands

Key Requirements
· To remove asbestos on a variety of buildings – some of which are very prestigious.
· Ensure all asbestos is removed in compliance with the regulatory requirements.
· To work within the Company Policies and Procedures to ensure achievement and maintenance of accreditations.

Qualifications and Experience
· Two years’ experience as a Supervisor / Operative in the Asbestos industry.
· Hold a current Licensed Asbestos Training Certificate.
· Driving License.
· All training certified and up to date.
