Consumer unit upgrade and new power and lighting installed to this garage, so the customer can use it properly as a workshop. ⚡️

The ceiling had already been fireboarded and skimmed before we attended, so concealed cabling was no longer an option. That meant all wiring had to be surface mounted, but we kept everything as neat and tidy as possible and delivered a clean, safe, practical finish.

Just a little snippet of some of last week’s work.

A second fix completed on a recent kitchen rewire following the install of kitchen units, and a new consumer unit installation after the old one had failed.

⚡️ We brought the consumer unit up to satisfactory standard by replacing it with a supplied and installed 18th edition full RCBO consumer unit with surge protection device.

💡 We were requested to hide as many of the kitchen electrical accessories as possible, for a minimalistic style. So all spurs and switches to appliances have been strategically hidden inside cupboards.

We are carrying out lots of outside light installations at the moment. This light installation is part of a kitchen rewire we are currently working on. We’ve relocated the existing floodlight so that is higher, to cover more of the garden. 💡
