We’ve replaced the old setup with a modern FuseBox consumer unit, bringing the installation up to current standards and significantly improving safety and reliability.

✅ Fire suppression system for enhanced protection and peace of mind

The Live Electrical Distribution (UK) Limited compact, DIN rail-mounted aerosol fire suppression device is designed to automatically activate when exposed to high temperatures, helping to suppress electrical fires before they spread 🔥🧯

🔧 Half-Term Works Completed – Supporting a Local SEN School 🔐

Over the recent half-term break, we had the pleasure of delivering a programme of access control upgrades and remedial works at a local Secondary school.

Our scope of work included:
✅ Installation of new Paxton Net2 door stations
✅ Conversion of existing Switch2 systems over to Net2 for improved flexibility and centralised management
✅ Carrying out access control remedials, addressing previous installations where ACUs had been incorrectly wired into plug tops

As part of our maintenance and improvement works, we also:
🔹 Replaced reader faceplates (FOC) to enhance both functionality and presentation
🔹 Installed new 7Ah backup batteries to ensure system resilience
🔹 Tidied and organised multiple ACUs to bring installations in line with best practice standards

It’s always rewarding to support schools, especially in environments where security and reliability are so important. Delivering these upgrades during the half-term break ensured minimal disruption to staff and students.

We recently completed a Paxton Access Ltd Net2 Entry system installation at a local school, helping them take a big step forward in site security and Access control.
