Churchyards and cemeteries are some of the most challenging environments for tree removal.
Access is often extremely limited, drop zones are small, and there is virtually no margin for error. One mistake can result in damage to a gravestone and the memory of someone's loved one.
Following a report from independent tree inspector, two trees at a church we have maintained for many years were identified for removal. With no access for machinery within the churchyard, we positioned a 46 metre MEWP outside the site and used its impressive reach to carefully dismantle the trees in small, controlled sections.
We're pleased to say the work was completed without any damage to gravestones or surrounding features, and the site was left clean and tidy.
A great example of how careful planning, the right equipment and an experienced team can overcome even the most challenging tree work.
