Some remedial work was needed to this property in pipewell Northants , we were contacted by the owners as they had serious water ingress in several places, we located the problem introduced some lead to bridge the back of the gable, this is a common problem with old building, where mortar phillets were used to seal the roof , over the years the mortar cracks and shrinks allowing water to track its way into the house. Not the most exciting repair but a very necessary repair to a expensive problem.

A lovely little job on this grade 2 listed vicarage in Stagsden. This chimneys stone was completely rotten, and was in desperate need of replacing. Rather than strip the chimney down to replace the lower sections, we carefully chopped out the bad stone and replaced it with new, saving our clients thousands of pound, we raked out the old cement mortar and repointed in hydraulic lime to consolidate and strengthen the chimney this gave it a fresh new look and added years to its life.
