Systems that are not maintained usually lose all power, including their battery backup during a power cut. When this happens, the external sounder will activate using its own backup battery to indicate there is an issue, but this also indicates that the system has not been correctly looked after.

A non-maintained intruder alarm could suggest a few things such as:

1. Poor performance of the system
2. Not insurance approved
3. Likely that the system is not used very often
4. Not monitored for Police response

⛪ CCTV UPGRADE COMPLETE IN PLUMSTEAD, LONDON

Following recent break-ins, this church upgraded its 20-year-old CCTV system with 14 x 4K ColorVu cameras and remote smartphone access for improved security and monitoring.

🔒 New CCTV Installation Completed - Plumstead, London

We’ve recently completed a major CCTV upgrade for a church in Plumstead following a number of break-ins. The original system, over 20 years old, has now been fully replaced with a state-of-the-art security solution.

The new setup includes 14x 4K ColorVu CCTV cameras, delivering crystal-clear, full-colour footage day and night. The system also allows secure remote access via smartphone, giving peace of mind and full visibility from anywhere.

As part of the upgrade, we also installed a dedicated camera system to enable live streaming of church services. This has become an increasingly popular service, helping churches stay connected with their wider community.
