Interesting day 🤔!
I’ve come across some pretty unique issues with new sanitary-ware…but a new toilet allergic to pan connectors is a first for me 😬😅…. Bought online..(😶)… the not inexpensive unit had an odd ‘oval’ shaped pan outlet….and we don’t make oval pan connectors in the UK 🙄😅…. hey ho…. Fingers crossed the replacement is ok 🤞

A word of warning....!!
Attended a very bad emergency leak job on Saturday, water was pouring down through the clients kitchen from the loft....client unable to turn off seized stop c**k (😫) and the outside Southern Water stop c**k didn't fully shut off water supply. Believe it or not, (and the proof is in the pictures) the leak was coming from a plastic cold main supply pipe buried under the family heirlooms, Crimbo decorations, boxes of old school books and the usual loft detritus. As you can see in the pictures...it was actually caused by vermin chewing through the pipe !!. It's the first time I've actually seen it but it can, and does, happen....
Unfortunately the customer now has a ruined kitchen ceiling and flooded floors and a Combi Boiler that was drenched through. Three words of warning & advice re this incident...
1: CHECK YOUR INTERNAL STOP C**K REGULARLY !
2: CHECK YOUR EXTERNAL STOP C**K REGULARLY !
3: Consider having loft located plastic pipework replaced with copper pipe...I've never met a mouse who could chew through copper....

If the client could have fully turned off the supply, the damage would have been much more limited before I could get there.

It's about time we actually used our page and posted some images of our work. This total washroom refurbishment works for the fabulous folk at Broadstairs & St. Peters Bowling Club. Really pleased with the end result and now the members and visitors can conduct their ablutions in style and comfort 😁. Thanks to everybody involved, it was a real pleasure to do this work. 🙏
