Works continue at Drapers Mill Primary Academy in Margate!

We’re transforming a former classroom and toilet block into a brand-new kitchen and dining hall facility, creating a modern, practical space to support the school’s catering and dining needs.

The project involves repurposing the existing building to provide facilities better suited to the school community, making the most of the available space while delivering an improved environment for pupils and staff.

We look forward to seeing the project progress as work continues on site.

62 schools. Six weeks. A huge amount achieved.

Over the summer holidays, our teams worked across 62 schools, delivering a wide range of improvement, refurbishment and maintenance projects — all completed within the six-week holiday window to minimise disruption to pupils and staff.

Our programme included:

🏗️ Completing a building extension
🪟 Installing over 80 new windows
🚻 Refurbishing numerous toilet and washroom facilities
🏫 Reconfiguring a school reception area
👶 Refurbishing and reconfiguring a nursery
🛣️ Resurfacing paths and roads
🔥 Carrying out fire safety upgrades
🚻 Further toilet refurbishment projects
🔧 Delivering many additional improvement and maintenance works across schools

The summer break provides a vital opportunity for schools to undertake essential works without impacting the day-to-day learning environment. Delivering this volume of work across 62 schools in just six weeks required careful planning, coordination and close collaboration with schools and project teams.

We’re proud to have helped create safer, more functional and improved learning environments ready for pupils and staff returning for the new academic year.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making such a demanding programme possible.

Education Window Installation | Hadlow College

Waller Glazing Services has recently completed this window replacement project at Hadlow College, providing a modern, high-performance solution while maintaining the character of the existing building.

The new uPVC windows feature an oak-coloured acrylic foil finish, carefully selected to complement and closely match the original windows, which had reached the end of their serviceable life.

The installation provides a number of key benefits for the college, including improved security, enhanced energy efficiency and a refreshed appearance, while ensuring the building retains its existing aesthetic.
