As a poetry lover it would be outrageous to let this day slip by when there is so much Wonder in the world.

Whether its man-made and hand built or here in nature theres so much to be in awe of and inspired by everyday..

Less AI and tech more observation of the world 🌎 around us.

More personality in the buildings around us please 🙏

Not often a client says they miss their builder...

When you get the opportunity to work with a client and you understand the vision it can be a really incredible experience.

We are seeing more and more clients request quotes before the project information is ready.

This can make quotations difficult to prepare and even harder to compare because each builder may be making different assumptions about items that havent yet been clearly defined.

One builder may include something another has excluded. Allowances maybe based on completely different specifications and important details may still be missing from the drawings.

This doesn't mean you need to have chosen every handle, tile or paint colour. However, the more clearly your project is defined, the more accurate ans useful your quotations will be.

We've created a free guide.

12 things to have before asking builders to quote

It will help you understand what information to prepare, what may affect the price and how to compare quotations more confidently.

DM checklist and I will send you the link to download it.

⚠️ AI can tell you which quote is cheaper but can it tell you WHY its cheaper?

Missing works, unrealistic provisional sums, different specs and important exclusions could be in one quote and not the other. Two quotes that look comparable on screen could actually be offering very different things.

using AI to compare quotes by any construction professional not just builders may not be giving you the interpretation you require. Read our latest blog to see what questions to ask.
