When we're not on roofs and up ladders, you might be able to find us at the races!!

My Chiquita, the horse Jim has with two others, had a win at Cartmel Racecourse on Saturday. A brilliant start to the bank holiday weekend! A big thank you to jockey Leah Norcei.

We’ve recently worked on a fantastic restoration project for one of our clients.

The shippon pictured here has been fully re-roofed, giving this beautiful traditional building a new lease of life.

As part of the renovation, the property also needed new windows. We teamed up with our friends at Shire Homes - Joinery Manufacturers, who expertly manufactured and fitted bespoke windows to complement the character of the building.

🚨 Labourer Wanted

We’re looking for a labourer to join the Bracken's team, working across Kendal and the South Lakes. The role includes driving a company vehicle.

Requirements:
✔ Full driving licence
✔ Over 25
✔ Keen to learn and work hard

Experience in building or joinery is preferred but not essential – training and guidance will be provided for the right person.

This is a great opportunity to learn the trade and become part of an established team.

📍 Work based around Kendal & South Lakes
⏳ Monday - Friday
🌟 For the right candidate, job progression or more senior roles would be considered.
