Experienced Site Fitter
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Site Fitter to join our Team on a full time permanent basis. We are a busy Joinery Manufacturing Company with a Workshop in Gatebeck near Kendal. We manufacture a full range of high quality bespoke joinery items such as doors, windows, bars, counters, staircases, unitary for bedrooms and kitchens and more. You will be required to install the finished items on-site to an equally high standard.
You must be able to work to deadlines on your own and as part of a team. You must produce a high standard of workmanship as you will provide the final stage of our service - the installation. Previous experience working as a Site Fitter is essential as little training will be given and a high standard of work is expected.
A clean driving licence is essential along with experience driving long wheel base vans as you will be required to deliver items in the company vans. A relevant qualification is preferred.
This is a permanent position whereby you will be an employee of the company (we are not looking to sub-contract to self-employed site fitters). Working hours are 43.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday. Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Our clients asked us to manufacture bespoke handmade wardrobes and vanity desk in a Clive Christian style. Wardrobes located on the left and right-hand side of the vanity desk and comprise of both hanging areas and shelves for extra storage. The vanity desk has been manufactured with base cabinets to each side, both having a cupboard below a handmade solid Oak dove tailed drawer with velvet jewellery insert, finished off with a solid wood worktop and topped with 6mm polished edge glass. Surrounding the vanity desk is 5no bevelled edge mirrors consisting of 1no large mirror centrally with 2no narrower side mirrors and 2no side cheek mirrors

Our clients asked us to manufacture a bespoke handmade kitchen in a Clive Christian style which has personalised features that has enhanced both the functionality and aesthetics of their home. Each element has been thoughtfully crafted to ensure the kitchen is not only a place for functionality but a space that embodies comfort and luxury with all drawers being handmade solid Oak dove tailed drawers and all doors being in-frame shaker style with panel moulding within the doors. In the corner of the kitchen is a handmade bespoke seating area comprising of upholstered radiused fluted seating with a radiused Clive Christian style skirting, encasing a table with hexagon shape base manufactured from Quartz along with the double Ogee edge detailed Quartz tabletop

Another couple of recently completed items. Curved glass look Perspex screens and door with a pull-out writing shelf installed above the reception desk in Penrith. Along with a new curved countertop and Perspex screens fitted between stainless steel posts in Kendal for Westmorland & Furness Council

Just a sneak peek of a job we are getting close to completing for a very good customer of ours. These units are manufactured from European solid Oak with feature Burr Oak inlays, all we have left to do is to strip down, sand, stain and final lacquer before installation. Keeps your eyes peeled for the final pictures when installed.
