Damaged roof renewed with Spanish slate and Easy slate on the bottom half due to the pitch, another that's been leaking in for Yonks 🫪

Permo Felt soaking water into the roof , felt trimmed back and wider slates fitted back in to increase side lap.

Opposite valley had the same problem but also no bead on the lead, bead dressed on the valley and slated back in with increased lap.

Problem solved.

Over in the Lakes today doing some more lead work, getting a couple of chimney trays ready for the Stone mason Matt.

A failed GRP box gutter replaced with Lead & T-Pren expansion joint.

This was letting water in for some time, once we starting lifting the GRP you could clearly see what the problem was, The dashing was in poor condition too so this has been taken off and will be renewed next week.

Great little roof to replace, a failed GRP roof which peeled off with ease.

We swapped this round from a cold roof to a warm roof finished off with the outstanding Resitrix Membrane, working alongside Derek Stafford Roofing who are re slating the main roof and doing a stellar job of it!
