Oakley Village Hall Air Conditioning System Replacement
Today we replaced one of four existing 10 kW wall mounted split systems at Oakley Village Hall.
The previous system was approximately 20 years old and used R410A refrigerant. Due to the age of the equipment, the spare parts required to maintain the system were no longer being manufactured, making continued repairs increasingly difficult.
The old system has now been replaced with a new, more efficient Mitsubishi Heavy Industries R32 system. The new unit has been fully installed and commissioned, with new refrigerant pipework, new cables & new condensate drain installed, and is now up and running correctly.
Where practical, we have retained and reused the existing external trunking and protective cage surrounding the outdoor unit. This helped streamline the installation process, minimise unnecessary disruption and, importantly, keep the overall cost of the replacement as low as possible for the hall.
The new R32 system provides a more modern and energy efficient solution, offering improved heating and cooling performance for the hall while also providing a more reliable system for the future.
Another successful upgrade completed at Oakley Village Hall, providing improved efficiency, reliability and comfort while keeping installation costs under control.
