Kitchen areas overboard ceilings and skim, patch and repair walls and skim

Landing ceiling and staircase wall knock off and replace

All plastered in a beatiful home so the first day was prep day…roll and stroll throughout the areas we worked in and sheet up all the kitchen cabinetry

Keeping mess to the bare minimum is crucial in this game…fail to prepare… prepare to fail and all that!

Board and skim kitchen area

Board ceiling (fire board around the steels)

Dot and dab block work (one wall thick dots to get over padding for the steel) all lasered and string lined to create a line to work too (fool p**f if you know what your doing 😉)

Screwfix bulkheads and bead

Full tape and sheet up of stone work and windows

Two coat skim finish

And of course left spotless for the next set of trades to come in (sockets cleaned out immaculately 💪)

Hall, stairs and landing completed this week

-Carpet protector and hard floor protector down with pro plex over the top and taped down to prevent mess

-Overboard ceilings (would never ever overskim a ceiling, for me your just asking for trouble)

-patch up any holes or deviations and apply plasterers pre grit in preparation for skimming

-new beads on all angles and finished with 2 coats of multi finish to the highest standard

-final clean up that consists of all beads, sockets and skirting lines cleaned up….windows and doors cleaned down and the floor protector pulled up 👌

The last picture shows the silicone render system we have applied on the exterior with pics and videos to follow 💪

2026 didn’t start out as hoped… a month off work due to the loss of me and my partners baby at 22 weeks.

January was a complete write off for me but I’d like to thank the lads daz and Harley for keeping the ball rolling and making my life easier by getting projects ticked off on time 👌 really appreciate your efforts lads 🤍

We’ve been all over really…Harrogate, Ilkley, Addingham just to name a few but this project was in Malham, gods own county 💪. It was specified for insulated lime plaster to give maximum insulation properties.

150 odd bags later to give maximum insulating properties we achieved our final finish. Some graft went into this one mixing 50 odd bags a day 3 days on the Trot 😳

Going forward I’ll try get my head on and get posting more of our projects 👌

Kitchen re skim in Silsden

It’s been a busy start to the year with the lads finishing our internal board and skim project in Harrogate, (external still to come once the scaffold goes up), and a house refurb in Bingley we finished off last week for another returning customer 👌
