BD Bathrooms Designs have completed this elegant bathroom makeover in HU3 this week, creating a space that feels calm, refined and effortlessly luxurious from the moment you step inside.

Before the renovation, the room had all the signs of a bathroom that had worked hard for many years. The bath, shower curtain, darker flooring and older fittings made the space feel smaller and more enclosed, while the contrasting blue mosaic and dated layout were ready for a softer, more sophisticated finish.

The remodelling now feels beautifully considered. In place of the old bath is a generous 1700 x 700 stone resin shower tray, framed by a sleek 700 chrome screen with flipper unit to give the room a more open, graceful flow. The chrome thermostatic double pole shower brings a polished, spa-inspired feel, combining comfort, ease and everyday indulgence in one clean design.

Every detail has been chosen to keep the room feeling neat, calm and uncluttered. The Waterguard closet sink, Waterguard toilet unit and BTW standard height toilet sit beautifully within the compact layout, giving the space a fitted, seamless look. Chrome taps and waste add just the right touch of shine, lifting the finish without overwhelming the room.

The colour palette is what gives this bathroom its calm, luxurious feel. Concrete Grey flooring grounds the room with a soft contemporary contrast, while Frost White walls brighten the space and reflect the light beautifully. A chrome 1600 x 500 towel warmer adds warmth, comfort and that final boutique-hotel detail.

To complete the finish, we installed a new ceiling with two spotlights and a new pull cord, allowing the whole room to feel fresh, bright and carefully finished from top to bottom.

This week’s renovation took us to HU17, where an outdated bath setup was ready for a fresh new direction.

The brief was simple: create a space that felt easier to use, more open, and better suited to everyday life.

For many people, the bathroom is more than just a practical space. It is where the day begins, where you get a few quiet minutes to yourself, and where you should feel safe, relaxed and completely at ease. The client approached BD Bathroom Designs and wanted to move away from an older bath setup and create something brighter, calmer and easier to use every day, without losing that homely, welcoming feel.

To bring that feeling to life, we opened up the space by replacing the old bath with a spacious 1700 x 700 stone resin shower tray, creating a shower area that feels calm, secure and easy to enjoy every day. The Triton T80 EasiFit 8.5KW electric shower was chosen to keep things simple and comfortable, while the 700-shower screen with flipper panel and chrome profile adds a bright, elegant finish that helps the whole room feel lighter, more open and beautifully cared for.

We also added two grab rails for extra support and peace of mind. They are practical details, but they make such an emotional difference. This helps the bathroom feel safer, steadier and more reassuring without taking away from the overall look. The walls were finished in Concrete Beige, bringing warmth and softness into the room, while the Grey Ash floor adds a fresh, modern contrast that completely lifts the space.

Another gorgeous HU10 bathroom completed, and this one is all about calm mornings, easier routines and a space that finally feels like it works for you.

Rather than just updating the room, BD Bathroom Designs focused on creating a space that feels peaceful and practical. It gives you somewhere to enjoy smoother mornings and more relaxed evening routines.

The shower area now feels bright, open and easy to enjoy. A 1600 x 700 stone resin shower tray creates a generous base for the space. The Triton T80 electric shower adds everyday practicality, while the chrome screen with flipper unit gives the area a clean, modern finish. The built-out shower wall and added niche give everyday essentials a proper place, keeping the space calm, tidy and ready for those much-needed quiet moments.

The vanity area was kept bright and practical with an 1100 white combination unit and matching 1100 right-hand white sink, brought together with Belini chrome taps and waste for a polished finish. The comfort height toilet and soft close seat add an extra touch of ease, making the room feel as comfortable to use as it is lovely to look at. Practical details but chosen carefully so the whole room still feels elegant and easy to live with.

For those finishing touches we added a 1600 x 500 chrome towel warmer. This completed the space with that little touch of comfort that makes all the difference, especially on those mornings when you need five quiet minutes before the day begins.

The room was finished with sparkle wall panels that lift the light beautifully, paired with concrete grey flooring for a soft, contemporary contrast. A new ceiling, two spotlights and a fresh pull cord complete the brighter, more polished feel. We also boxed in the visible pipework above the door, giving the whole space a cleaner, calmer finish where every detail feels considered.

The brief that was given to BD Bathroom Designs was to create a brighter, cleaner and more supportive bathroom while keeping the room elegant and homely. For many people, especially when planning ahead for comfort and independence, it is not just about how a bathroom looks, it is about how it feels to use every single day.

We simplified the layout with a generous 1700 x 700 stone resin shower tray, paired with a 700mm glass screen and flipper panel to help keep the shower area open, accessible and easy to use. The chrome single-pole thermostatic shower adds a sleek finish while offering simple, reliable control. A wall-mounted foldable shower seat and two grab rails were also added to provide extra support when needed, while still keeping the overall look clean, modern and comfortable.

The client’s existing sink and taps were reused, helping retain a familiar feature within the new design. The WC unit was thoughtfully built out with a practical shelf above, while the comfort height toilet was chosen to bring a little more ease, reassurance and dignity to everyday use. To complete the finish, we fitted a 1600 x 500 chrome towel warmer radiator, lowered and installed on 10mm angled brackets for the best position in the room. A round wired mirror was also included, collected from the client, adding a neat finishing touch without overcomplicating the design.

The final touches were the panels, the concrete grey flooring gives the room a soft, modern feel, while the Carrera matt walls add a gentle touch of warmth and elegance. With the gloss white ceiling, fresh spotlights and a new extractor fan, the whole room now feels lighter.

Bathrooms like this are about more than panels and fittings. They are about creating a space that helps you feel secure, independent and relaxed in your own home — without having to compromise on style.

The 1700×800 stone resin shower tray gives this bathroom room to breathe — and gives the person using it that quiet feeling of ease the moment they step in. With more space to move, a strong surface underfoot and a clean, open finish, it helps turn showering from something that can feel rushed or difficult into a calmer, more confident part of the day. The 800-shower screen with chrome profile and flipper panel keeps the bathroom feeling light and open while still offering protection where it is needed most. We also installed a round double pole shower to complete the look. The chrome finish ties everything together beautifully, adding a polished touch without overpowering the room.

To bring extra peace of mind, we also fitted two grabrails. They sit neatly within the design, but their value goes far beyond how they look. They offer something deeply important and the reassurance of being able to step into the shower feeling steady, supported and independent, without the room ever losing its warmth or style.

The finished shower area now has a striking boutique feel, with Metallic Slate walls adding depth, texture and warmth to the space. The darker tones create a beautiful contrast against the clean white tray, giving the bathroom a smart, calming look that feels both elegant and easy to maintain.

This BOSI (Bath Out and Shower In) project in HU13 was all about making every day showering feel safer, easier and more reassuring, while still giving the bathroom a fresh, clean and carefully finished look.

The existing bath was removed and replaced with a practical walk-in shower arrangement, creating a space that better supports someone who may find stepping in and out of a bath difficult. The aim was not just to update the room, but to help bring more confidence and independence into the customer’s daily routine.

A 1700 x 700 stone resin shower tray was fitted to provide a strong, stable and generous showering area. This gives the room a more open feel while offering a reliable base that is well suited to regular use. The shower area was completed with a 700mm shower screen and flipper in a chrome profile, helping to keep the water contained while maintaining a light, open finish. The chrome detail ties in neatly with the support rails and shower fittings for a clean, consistent look. For simple and dependable showering, we installed a Triton T80 8.5kW electric shower. It offers easy-to-use controls and a practical everyday setup, making the new space feel straightforward, comfortable and ready to use.

Next on our list to include was one grab rails and a wall-mounted seat. Most importantly BD Bathrooms believe that these are the features that make a meaningful difference, offering extra support, stability and peace of mind for someone who may need to sit while showering or steady themselves while moving around the enclosure.

Finally, the walls were finished in Beige Concrete, giving the shower area a warm and modern feel. The soft neutral tone works beautifully with the white tray and chrome details, creating a space that feels both practical and homely.

Proof that even the modest bathrooms can make the biggest impression. This week’s HU4 transformation is all about clever design, beautiful finishes and those little details that completely change how a room feels.

The bathroom was a very compacted space, but that doesn’t stop BD Bathroom Designs. The right design choices can make such a massive difference. From the moment you step through the door of this bathroom transformation, you could feel the room become fresher, calmer and far more modern.

So, how did we turn this simple bathroom into a space that feels so considered, refined and comfortable?

We started by creating a beautifully balanced bathing area with the 1600 x 700 Straight Line bath, positioned neatly along the wall to give the client comfort without overwhelming the room. Finished with a sleek glass screen, this keeps the space feeling open and refined, while allowing the concrete grey shower panels and chrome fittings to make a clean, luxurious statement. The thermostatic double-pole bath filler and shower adds a lovely, polished contrast against the concrete grey background. The round rainfall head, handheld shower and bath filler bring together comfort and practicality, giving the room that hotel-style feel while still being perfect for everyday family use.

Under the window, we installed an 800 two-drawer Bella unit in Anthracite. This gives the room a real focal point. The dark furniture works so well with the grey flooring and shower area, while the white basin and chrome Belini tap and waste keeps the finish crisp, bright and balanced. The natural light coming in through the window also helps soften the stronger grey tones, and the beige concrete wall panels across the rest of the room add warmth so the finished bathroom does not feel cold or heavy.

Privacy is such an important part of any bathroom design, and this was a key consideration in this transformation. We introduced a carefully constructed stud wall between the shower and toilet, helping to shield the shower area from the window while also giving the WC its own more private, considered space. This allowed the shower to be repositioned away from the window for a cleaner and more refined layout. The WC was then built out to house a concealed cistern, creating a sleek, seamless finish, while the comfort height toilet and soft close seat add that extra level of everyday comfort and quiet luxury.

On the opposite wall, the 1600 x 500 anthracite towel warmer brings another strong design detail into the room. It ties in perfectly with the anthracite vanity unit and gives the bathroom a smart, coordinated finish while also adding warmth and ease. The new ceiling makes a big difference too. The clean white finish reflects the light beautifully, and the two spotlights brighten the room without taking away from the calm feel. A new pull cord and like-for-like extractor fan were also fitted, making sure the space works as well as it looks.

Looking at the finished bathroom, the concrete tones immediately give the room a strong contemporary feel. The concrete grey flooring runs beautifully through the space, while the darker concrete grey panels around the bath and shower area create a bold feature that feels stylish, practical and easy to maintain. What we love about this transformation is the balance. The room has a sleek, contemporary style, but it still feels warm and homely.

BD Bathrooms Designs aim was to create a space that did more than just look good. This bathroom needed to feel easier to use, safer day to day and finished with care, giving the client a room that brings comfort, confidence and a little bit of everyday luxury.

We installed a 1700 x 700 stone resin shower tray with a 700 chrome screen and flipper unit, creating a generous showering area while keeping the room open and bright. The round thermostatic double-pole shower adds a sleek finish and makes the shower feel as good as it looks. The shower area has been finished in grey retro wall panels, which give the room a bold feature without making it feel heavy. The remaining walls are completed in silver retro panels, bringing a softer tone through the rest of the bathroom and tying everything together beautifully.

For the furniture, we fitted a 500 Bella floor-standing unit in anthracite with a 500 sink, paired with chrome Belini taps. The anthracite finish gives the room a smart, contemporary look and works so well against the lighter wall tones and grey ash floor. Additional we added a Bella WC unit, comfort height toilet and soft-close seat, helping the whole space feel more comfortable and practical. We also included two grab rails, giving extra support and reassurance while still keeping the bathroom looking clean and modern.

At the heart of the room is a 1700 x 800 stone resin shower tray, giving a generous showering area with a clean, solid finish. Paired with a 700 screen and flipper unit in bronze, it creates a beautiful open feel while keeping the space practical, comfortable and easy to use. The bronze finishes bring such a warm, elegant touch throughout the room, from the thermostatic double pole shower to the Core taps. These details soften the whole design and give the bathroom that stylish, considered look without feeling cold or clinical. We also installed an 1100 anthracite combination unit with an 1100 left-hand white sink, bringing storage, function and a lovely modern contrast into the room. This beautiful new space was designed to be bright, easy to live with and a little bit luxurious, the kind of bathroom that makes busy mornings smoother and quiet evenings that bit more relaxing.

The spacious 1700 x 800 stone resin shower tray creates a lovely open showering area, finished with a chrome screen and flipper panel to keep everything light, neat and uncluttered. Inside the shower, the round thermostatic shower with extended handles brings comfort as well as style, giving the room a polished, thoughtful finish that makes everyday use effortless.

The anthracite combination unit adds a bold, grown-up contrast against the grey walls, while the white left-hand sink keeps the room fresh and bright. Paired with chrome Peak taps, it is a lovely mix of practical storage and clean design. A comfort-height toilet with a soft-close seat was chosen to make the bathroom easier and more comfortable to use every day, because a great bathroom should not just look good, it should work beautifully too. The final touch to the furniture is a tall chrome towel warmer, adding shine, warmth and that cosy finish we all appreciate when stepping out of the shower.
